What we do
Care that fits around a life already being lived
Every one of these starts the same way: a free visit at home, a written plan you approve, and a price you can see before you commit.

Personal care
Washing, dressing, continence support, medication prompting and getting the day started well. Delivered with the door closed and the dignity intact.
See how it works
Dementia care
Every carer completes our 6-day dementia programme before they meet your family. We keep the rota tight so the same two or three faces come back, week after week.
Dementia care in Altrincham
Companionship
The one that families underestimate. A walk to Dunham Massey, the crossword, a lift to the hairdresser — and someone who notices when something isn't right.
See how it works
Live-in care
Usually cheaper than a residential home for a couple, and the cat stays. One carer, in the house, with a proper break schedule so they're actually rested.
Compare with a care home
Respite care
For when the family carer needs a fortnight, a hospital stay of their own, or simply a Saturday. From a single visit to six weeks, arranged in days not months.
See how it works
Overnight care
Sleeping nights for reassurance, waking nights where there's real need. Most families start here after a fall, and sleep properly for the first time in months.

Six promises we put in writing
Not values on a wall. These are in the client agreement, and if we break one you can leave with seven days' notice.
You meet the carer first
Before care starts, we introduce the specific person who'll be coming. If it isn't the right fit, we change them — no awkward conversation required.
Minimum one-hour visits
We don't do fifteen-minute calls. You cannot wash, dress, feed and talk to a person in fifteen minutes, and pretending otherwise is how the sector lost trust.
The same faces, every week
94% of our visits are covered by a carer the family already knows. We publish that number monthly and we publish it when it drops.
Carers on our payroll
Directly employed, paid £13.85–£15.60 an hour, paid for travel time, with a pension. Well-paid carers stay — and continuity is the whole product.
Every price on the website
Hourly, overnight, live-in, bank holidays, mileage. All of it is on our pricing page. You should never have to ring a care company to find out what it costs.
A human answers the phone
7am to 10pm, seven days, answered in Altrincham by someone who knows your parent's name. Out of hours it goes to the on-call manager, not a call centre.
Altrincham & Sale
Your care manager is Siobhan, and she lives four miles away
We are not a national brand with a call centre in another county. The office is on Stamford New Road. Siobhan Kelly has run it since 2018, she does the first home visit herself, and she is the person who answers when something goes wrong at nine on a Sunday evening.
- Every assessment done in person, in the home, free of charge
- Care plan written and shared with you before the first visit
- Family app: every visit logged with notes and photos, same day
- Six-weekly review call, whether or not you ask for one

We'd had two other agencies before this. The difference is that I know who is walking through Mum's door. Rebecca has been with her fourteen months. When Mum had a fall in February it was Rebecca who found her, and she rang me before she rang the ambulance because she knew I'd want to hear it from her. You cannot buy that with a fifteen-minute visit.

Dad has vascular dementia and had started refusing to let anyone in. Siobhan came out twice before we even signed anything, just to let him get used to her face. Eight months on he calls his carer "the tall lad" and looks forward to Tuesdays. The honesty about cost was the other thing — they told us about Attendance Allowance on the first call and it paid for a fifth of the care.

I'll be honest — the first carer wasn't right for Mum. I rang expecting a fight and got an apology and a different carer within four days, no charge for the changeover. That's when I decided to trust them. Two years now. The app means my brother in Perth reads the visit notes over his breakfast and we've stopped arguing about who knows what.

The questions families actually ask
Our hourly rate is £31.50 on weekdays, £33.80 at weekends and £42.00 on bank holidays. Overnight sleeping care is £185 a night and live-in care starts at £1,395 a week for one person. A typical package of two visits a day, seven days a week, comes to £441 a week.
Those are the whole numbers — there is no separate registration fee, assessment fee or mileage charge inside our covered towns. Across Greater Manchester the going rate in 2026 is roughly £29 to £35 an hour, so we sit in the middle and we publish it, which most don't.
Nearly. We build every package around a core of two or three named carers so there is always cover for holidays and sickness without a stranger appearing. Last month 94% of our visits were delivered by a carer that family had met before. We publish that figure every month on our Altrincham page, including the months it dips.
If a carer isn't the right fit for your parent, tell us and we'll change them. There's no charge and no awkwardness — it happens with about one family in twelve and it's nobody's fault.
Yes to both. If your parent has capital under £23,250 the local authority should carry out a needs assessment and may fund care in full or in part. Between £14,250 and £23,250 there's a taper. Above that they're self-funding.
Separately, Attendance Allowance is not means-tested — £73.90 or £110.40 a week in 2026 depending on need. Around a third of the families we meet qualify and had no idea. David will help you fill the form in whether or not you become a client, because it's a 40-page form and it shouldn't be.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission since June 2016. Our Altrincham branch was rated Outstanding at its March 2026 inspection, having been Good in 2019 and 2022. Outstanding in Caring and Well-led, Good in Safe, Effective and Responsive.
Anyone can claim a rating. Ask any provider for their CQC provider ID and check it yourself on cqc.org.uk before you sign anything — including with us.
Free home visit within 48 hours, care usually starting three to five days after that. If it's a hospital discharge we can move faster — we've started same-day packages sixteen times this year, and if we genuinely can't staff it safely we'll tell you that instead of taking the booking and hoping.
Seven days' written notice, any time, no exit fee and no minimum term. If your parent goes into hospital we pause the account immediately and charge nothing while they're in. We think long contracts are how providers stop having to earn the work each week.
Have the conversation before the crisis
Most families ring us the week after a fall. The ones who ring a month before it have far more choice, and a much calmer time of it. A phone call costs you fifteen minutes.
